Comment limits - Much Larger than LJ?

Now, I'm not totally certain, but from what I'm reading on the Dreamwidth FAQ, the comment character limits are much larger than LJ.

This is what the FAQ states:
"The post limit has been increased to 300,000 characters (including spaces) and the comment limit has been increased to 16,000 characters (including spaces)."

I can't really remember what the LJ limits were for comments (4300 for comments?? I think always cut off around 3000), but this sounds like we can stop cutting our fics up like LJ always forced us! :3 So more posts like Chapters, rather than segments.

What is your opinion on reposting prompts? Yes? No? Only after a certain amount of time has passed? Only on its own posting page?

I'm asking mostly because I was browsing through the meme, and found some old prompts I forgot I posted (waaay back in Part2.) I wanna edit/expand on them (i.e. make them not quite so derpy), but I also don't want to spam the meme with old prompts.

So I really want to get into the AC:R multiplayer, but I haven't ever played an AC MP game before and I am so, so shy about pickup matches with total strangers picked from a random pool.

So, is there some sort of guild/clan/loosely connected group of ACR mutiplayer players that are also into the fanfic/art/roelplay aspects of the fandom? Assistance with my crippling shyness would be very much appreciated.

Two handles there so far, but no idea whether they're for PlayStation 3*, Xbox 360, or PC. My sister's on PS3 on what was my PSN handle (I play other games on my PC mostly, she just plays Revelations MP on PS3), what about your system? (If you don't want to offer the username just yet I understand, I guess I'm more surveying what systems we're on.)

That's right you lucky people, the Porn Battle is coming up soon! There were NO AC prompts in the previous Porn Battle, so it's up to us to show the flag!

Specific rules for each battle are posted on the site (http://battle.oxoniensis.org/) when prompting goes live, but generally it works like this. Leave a comment with the full fandom name, character/pairing/threesome/moresome and a single word prompt (You can leave more than one word, but they can't be a sentence or description) at either the DW (http://oxoniensis.dreamwidth.org/tag/challenge:+porn+battle) or LJ (http://oxoniensis.livejournal.com/tag/challenge:%20porn%20battle) communities. Prompt Wranglers will compile the comments into a big list at the website (http://battle.oxoniensis.org/) where you can pick any prompt you want to fill with fic, art, vids or songs. And hey ficcers! There are NO minimum word limits! Pick what you want, fill want you can!
