The assassins in Desmond's bloodline are secretly monsters. Not in the vampire way, or incubus way, or werewolf way, or the 'psychotic human' way. They're monsters, horrifying hulking inhuman beasts with massive fangs and claws. They can disguise their nature, appear human, but sometimes, they simply enjoy letting their real forms out to play.

Wanna see a sort of Beauty and the Beast-esque story where the assassin-of-choice's love interest discovers what they really are and, despite being absolutely pants-wettingly terrified, loves them anyway. Can eventually lead to smut, but really want the focus of the story should be on monstrous assassin and love interest slowly learning to trust/care for them.
