Re: Strange Fates 22

Although Connor is clearly the victim, but I actually felt for Haytham and Charles. Haytham being blamed for Charles' actions. Charles already lower than scum, having to bear his feelings out in the open - I'm pretty sure the Kenways have figured out that Charles has an unrequited love for Haytham... and errr unrequited lust for Connor. But, oh the end, where he's begging to keep his child did get me in the feels... it's too bad that he didn't realize that Connor had no intention of marrying his Templar brothers if it meant being separated from the child he wanted to keep to begin with.

Dying to know how this works out. Even though they feel guilty, I doubt Haytham and Charles will let Connor go, but even if they keep him, the recruits are planning on rescuing their leader.

And rrgghhh had another plot bunny attack. Tried shaking it off, but it's already started brainstorming ideas and writing notes and pieces down. It's where Charles dies in the main story line, and is reborn an alternate universe where he didn't strangle Connor as a child. Things work out amazingly well for him, but he's still carrying the guilt of what he did to his previous timeline Connor. Lots of angst and of course more smut. Ehh...so when I finish Honeymoon when I get back from vacation, I might start working on that along with the other neglected fills.
