Oh, I'm sure Charles is ecstatic... he's spent the last ten years going secretly even more obsessed with Connor, maybe even falling in love with the lies he conjured for little Haytham. Maybe a part of him knows Connor doesn't want this - but like the time Connor was his prisoner (I'm sure he's still kicking himself for the gang-rape) he either does not care or believes Connor will break down and truly want his touch.

Yeah... kind of wondered how Jefferson learned of Connor's ordeal as Lee's captive. Think Connor did not wish to share that dark side of his past with anyone, but Jefferson probably got curious with the Assassin's fascination with Prince Haytham, who is by all accounts innocent of his father's sins.
