I see little! Haytham as happy at first, but then eventually suspicious.
Already picture the reunion after Connor and Charles are married (I'm guessing a few hours after the throne room scene? Charles seems rather impatient of binding his Omega to him). Lil!Haytham is probably shocked to see his father and Connor together, and that learning that Connor was his mother who had been kidnapped after his birth - it might even make sense to him now, why Connor was sneaking around and using a different name. But lil!Haytham eagerly welcomes his mommy back into his life (and spending time with his son, is probably the only good thing Connor sees in his new prison).
He's bound to come into contact with the Assassins at some point (it would be difficult for Charles to eliminate them so quickly this time around)
Yeah, not so easy this time around. Especially since they are scattered widely apart. But they cannot counterattack since they're probably warily of the apple and need to level up their recruits for war.
As for Jefferson, not really sure. Do you think it'd be a good idea to have Connor actually kill him?
Hmmm... probably not. If Charles learned Jefferson was the Alpha who was Connor's lover, he might do it himself. Maybe challenge him to a duel and have Connor watch, and see how scary strong in body (if not in mind) Charles has become over the years.
