"We meet at last."

Desmond opens his eyes to be greeted by blinding light. He blinks a few times to allow his eyes to adjust and then he sees faces.

He is surrounded by warmth on their faces; gentle, understanding eyes, and proud smiles. He is offered a hand, which he takes, and he finds himself being pulled up.

"Ezio?"

Ezio still has the smile, understanding. He lets go of Desmond's hand and gestures to all the people around him.

Desmond looks more closely and finally recognizes the faces.

Altair. Connor. Clay.

Clay laughs, "Took you long enough."

Altair nods. Connor stands with his arms crossed.

They are smiling.

Desmond smiles back.

"Let's go home," Altair turns to walk towards the light faraway.
"We have waited so long for you," Connor follows.
"Well done, Desmond," next is Ezio.
"Come, man, let's go," Clay cheers.

Desmond stands still for a while, watching their backs and he find that he cannot stop smiling, and finally, finally he runs towards them.
