Connor has this habit of bringing strays back to the Homestead. Dogs, cats, a turkey that seemed to follow him everywhere...and Achilles didn't mind too much, because they had their uses as guard dogs and mousers...except for the turkey, but it made Connor happy, and he was more productive when he was happy.
However, Achilles thinks it may be time to draw the line when Connor starts bringing stray children back to stay in the mansion and on the Homestead.
OR: Connor brings back dogs and cats and stray animals (and the infamous Assassin Turkey) to the Homestead. And then he starts adopting the orphans and street rats of Boston and New York and brings them back too. Achilles has to draw the line somewhere. He probably isn't able to, though.
