I loved how you wrote Charles here. Pulling that evil prank on Clipper - and LOL being scolded by Ronald - and then his moment with Connor who is awake through the ordeal. I love how Charles tells Connor that things will change, but Connor knows they won't. They'll never be a normal married couple, or anywhere close to James and Clipper.


OMG poor Connor having all these revelations at once:

- His father handing him off to Charles

- Charles admitting to be strongly attracted to Connor, not even hating him anymore because he's a shadow of Haytham

- Charles telling him Washington's crime (if Connor ever believes it, though there's no point of Charles lying while he's like this)

- Connor learning he's pregnant, and possibly having his child taken from him if he does not wake up
