Since we already have(several) modern!high school AUs, how about the obligatory modern!prison AU? You know, the usual: Prison gangs, testosterone-laden jail hierarchies, pleads of innocence, corrupt and evil wardens, established badass long term inmates being protective of maybe not so badass newbies, don't-pick-up-the-soap-ery in the showers, and genereal prison gayness - stuff like that.
Would love it to be centered on Altaïr and Malik, but seeing as this an AU, any character could make an appearance.
