Re: Buried [7/x]

"Malik, it's okay. You're safe now," Altair soothed. The hands normally used to take life, gently rubbed it back into Malik's taught shoulders. He whispered soft words into Malik's ear. He never thought he would be a source of comfort for someone, but it seemed to be working. The longer Altair soothed, the less Malik shook and the quieter his sobs became.

Malik, leaned back slightly, a strange look on his haggard face. Without warning, he shot forward and pressed his lips to Altair's. The kiss was brutal, messy and without any sort of finesse. It was like Malik was trying to suck his lost air straight from Altair's lungs. Eventually, they both had to pull back to breathe. But, instead of stopping his attentions, Malik pressed kiss after sharp kiss to Altair's jaw and neck.

"M-malik!" Altair gasped, his hands tightening around the other male. "What are you doing?" He asked.

"You saved my life," Malik replied, his voice shaken and rough. "By Allah, I will reward you for that."

Altair's eyes flashed and a soft smirk curled his lips. "I shall accept that reward, but not here." He pushed the other away, slightly amused by the pained look it gave him. "Let us get to Masyaf. There, you may reward me in any way you see fit."

---

It took no more than two days for the pair to make it to the assassin's home base; shortest time by anyone's standards.

The entire way there, Malik, more then happy with his new lease on life, was continually reminded of his reward for Altair. Despite the teasing atmosphere Altair took to it, Malik was never annoyed. He wanted to give everything and anything to the man who had saved his life.

When they finally reached the gates, Malik practically dragged Altair through the halls of Masyaf. The assassin's wondering the halls stopped to stare. They just couldn't understand why the Grand Master was looking so excited to be pulled around by a one-armed man. As usual, they decided never to question and just let it go.

Finally, Malik pulled Altair all the way to his private chambers and shoved him in. He quickly followed and shut the door behind him.

Before the latch had fully clicked, Malik yanked Altair's face to his and brought their mouths together in a crushing kiss. In the same brutal fashion, their lips worked against each other, tongues fighting for dominance. Malik quickly gave way to Altair; clearly having the man save a life meant that he would come out on top.

Malik pulled away, starting to nip and lick his way down Altair's throat to the top of his clothing. With a noise of frustration, he plucked at the fabric.

Altair chuckled softly.

"We are impatient," he sighed. However, he broke away to quickly undo all the laces and belts holding his outfit together. Just as the last piece had fallen away, Malik attacked the exposed skin again.

This time he bit at the skin, sucking and pulling at the pale surface. Above him, Altair was groaning softly, not at all shocked by the vigorous actions Malik was taking. His eyes had fallen shut until he felt Malik's breath ghost over a quickly growing problem. He snapped his gaze downward.

"Malik?" He asked, the question remaining silent.

"I have to reward you," was the only reply.

Then, he felt a wicked little tongue dart out and taste the heated flesh. A hiss pulled from his lips. Subconsciously, he curled a hand in Malik's hair. In the back of his mind, he was shocked this was happening at all. There had always been some sort of tension between the two of them. He just didn't think it would take a second near death experience for anything to happen. Thoughts of just what Malik would do, let alone allow him to do, flooded his mind. In a matter of seconds, he standing tall before Malik's face.

There was a hum of approval from below. He looked down again.

"You're wonderfully large, for a half-breed," Malik teased, shooting a sly look up at the Grand Master.

Altair growled.
