Desmond shifted uncomfortably on the cold marble floor. This sucked. It wasn't like he lied about it, because he didn't. There was a difference. He didn't even mean for it to happen.
He shivered and pulled the scratchy wool blanket up to his chin, lifted his legs and swayed a little to tuck the edges under him. Desmond stared morosely at the only candle they left him. It's pitiful flame flickered, flickered, flickered, before--he held his breath--it flickered out, snuffing the rest of the light with it. Desmond started to feel incredibly lonely all by himself in the empty hallway. He sniffed pitifully.
This was so unfair.
He was going to tell Shaun, too. It's just. It's just there was never a good time to bring it up. What did Shaun expect anyway? "Morning, Shaun. Did I tell you about my herpes?"
Or
"Yes, I can pass the salt without passing my herpes."
Or
"Wait, I have herpes,"
Or
"What? You--Shaun. Ah, n-not here, they can see! Close the door. Mm, Shauuunn. Ah! God, there, yes, do that again. J-just like that. Wait, you t-too. Together-- yeahh, just like, oh. H-harder, uhnnnn. Sh-Shaun! Aahhh, nnff-- you feel so good. Please, please, haah. God! Just a--just a little more, oh, more, more. Fuck, Shaun, I'm close, so close, I-- I-- unnngh. Mmmm. Uh. Um. Shaun, I have herpes."
Well.
Shaun obviously didn't like the last one. And now Desmond knew.
But Desmond didn't know that then, and the no one seems to care that it wasn't on purpose! Honest! Rebecca even gave Shaun creme for it, so it's really not a big deal. Desmond learned his lesson and won't do that again.
And so. And so Shaun will forgive him eventually, right?
Right?
Right?

Sorry for the wait, OP. I tried to make this…well, not this, but my Desmond!Muse kept regressing at an alarming rate and my Shaun!Muse wouldn't unlock his door. (I'll be surprised if he ever talks to me again) However! There is an important lesson to be learned here, so it wasn't all for naught!
