Okay so I've had this idea for a while and it won't leave me alone.
Malik is studying to be a high school teacher so in college he was a student teacher for an eleventh grade class or whatever. Altair was in that class and was a total trouble maker. Because of this Malik puts his heart and soul to try to get through to him but it doesn't seem to work and by the end of the year(or Malik's semester) he leaves.
(Malik was like 20 and Altair was like 16/17)
SOME YEARS LATER (six or seven years? that would make Malik 27 and Altair 23 which is the average graduation age right?) Malik has had his own teaching job at some high school and is told that at the start of this coming year he'll get another teacher for his more difficult classes. The new teacher is of course Altair who just graduated. When he sees Malik he gets all excited and goes on and on about how Malik inspired him to be a better person and how it made him want to be a teacher too! Malik then gets charmed by this new happy polite, amazing teacher Altair and falls for him.
