Altair always acted arrogant and brash, but what if it was all a cover? What happens if Altair had a secret that he kept from the other master assassins and even Al Mualim?
Altair takes care of the younger soon-to-be assassin recruits (aka children) and the novices. Everyone who he takes care of is sworn to secrecy and to not show their abilities until they are masters. Mostly because he is worried to what would happen if anyone found out about it. So Altair does everything that the other assassins fail to do. Praise them, help them, and basically teach them everything from cooking to even writing and decoding.
Altair has managed to do this for years, long before he was a master assassin himself. He has help however, from Rauf and Kadar when he is not busy playing the part of a journeyman and role of younger brother. Now, Al Mualim has (in an act of OOC nature) grown worried from the lack of Novices at the fortress. He in turn called Malik and Kadar to search as Altair is currently out of reach and in the city. Kadar doesn't want to agree but Malik jumps to the answer before he can voice his. They set out a few days later, when the novices are on the move. However, Kadar warned them that they had a mission to follow them. They in turn split apart, going everywhere but their "home".
As such the mission is a failure, but Al Mualim does not like failures so he makes them continue until they succeed.
- If that happens or not is up to Author!Anon
-If it does happen: Altair swears Malik to secrecy, who in turn demands answers. While most are answered, some are not and it infuriates him. Malik swears that he'll tell Al Mualim if he doesn't, but ends up surrounded by the Novices. He eventually gives up and says he won't tell, but that isn't good enough for the Novices and they suggest that he helps out when he has the time. As Altair and Rauf, and the novices, don't always have the time to watch over the place. Malik reluctantly agrees, and as such is shown the ways of their home.
- Malik continue to help is allowed, along with him leaving afterwards.
But eventually they are found out by a master assassin (Abbas) and forced to tell the truth. Altair's real self resurfaces, the overprotective "mother" complex. (Mostly because it seems women are more dangerous when it comes to someone harming their children.) The house is able to say up and running, but some of the more arrogant master assassins are prone to bad mouthing the place...
+Rules+ ~ Altair playing the Mother AND Father (is Rauf does not cover this) figures to the Novices and Children ~ The home have a garden where gardening and relaxation can happen ~ The home has a medical ward for the novices and children to learn to be doctors so they can help teammates on the field. ~ Altair have a cover, as a man and a woman, to go into the city without being found out. ~ Romance is allowed if you want, but it is not forced. ~ (if found out) The Novices becoming annoyed when someone who was not raise like them bad mouths their home. ~ Kadar doesn't die because he's been trained much better and has more skills. ~ Abbas harassing Altair and Rauf more then normal. ~ The novices "getting back" at Abbas (aka pranking.) ~ Altair's "woman" cover works a bit too well for his tastes. (in other words: Hand groping, pick-up lines, staring, etc.)
