Alright, was over at the AC wiki, and saw this:

'Altaïr's best friend and right-hand man Malik Al-Sayf,'

Right hand man? Really?

Basically, all I want is Altair asking Malik to be his right hand man, then realising what he said and stumbling over his words in an attempt to fix it.
