I'm no fan of the Blades since Skyrim, they've turned into a weak and selfish shadow of what they used to be and I find it incredibly annoying that I can't just outright tell Delphine and Esbern a big fat NO concerning them wanting me to kill a certain old dragon, and they keep yabbing on about it while Alduin is molesting the world. And after Alduin's death we don't even get a thank you. Screw you too, bitches. That's just what I think though, I agree that the Assassins wouldn't fit in the Dark Brotherhood and there's not really another option besides the Blades. It's just... the Blades D: Bastards.

I admit, I've not come across them yet, they just fit the outline better than the other groups - but still, the Brotherhood have had its rough patches, like Abbas' era.
