Re: Unusual Pairings

I was wondering who'd pick Bianca. (I was wondering why no one's done it before)

I guess since she's not involved with any of the three major pairings (AltMal, EzioLeo and DesShaun, although I've been seeing the last one less and less) her prompts go unfilled.
Has that jealousy one been filled? I may have to go back and find it... That sounds really fun.
Re: OP
(Anonymous) 2011-12-08 01:02 am (UTC)(link)Unfortunately I can't seem to find that specific one where Bianca keeps popping up despite Pantasilea's repeated attempts to *ahem* Murder The Hypotenuse (trope), BUT I found a bunch of Bianca-related ones... for starters, Sword of Altaïr x Bianca.
Are you subscribed here, by the way?
Re: OP
TV Tropes, how you are made of win. Maybe Bianca is more popular than I thought, all I know is that I haven't seen many filled prompts of her.
Not currently, I just have no life, and therefore can spend all day reading hilarious stories.
Re: OP
(Anonymous) 2011-12-08 01:25 am (UTC)(link)I've rarely seen Bianca, Pantasilea or Bartolomeo (I don't call them the "Alvianos" due to the different surnames) prompted, period, but I think it's prompted mainly in the context of "Bartolomeo's CRAAAAAZY obsession".
Heh, lucky you... working all day (9-to-9, probably 10), then working at 9 tomorrow morning (til 4), then 9 the morning after that til 4.
Re: OP
Minor characters need more love. I quite like Bartolomeo, and Bianca's awesome. Pantasilea... I'm neutral. She's alright, but we didn't see enough of her for me to figure out where she stood with me.
Poor you! I know how you feel though, work is hard and annoying. Two weeks holiday for the win!
This fill has no name!
(Anonymous) 2011-12-08 12:17 am (UTC)(link)It's a beautiful day outside. Sunshine, few clouds, no templars; perfect for the twelve mile run Altair had planned for his novices. Except that he's cancelled that plan in favour of pacing his study and snarling at anyone unfortunate enough to approach. One young man flees sobbing in the direction of Malik's rooms.
"There's no point, you realize?" Altair hollers after him. "If he ignores me, I doubt , I doubt you'll get any sympathy".
And there lies the cause for his annoyance. It's been nearly two weeks, and the neglect is becoming painful. And every time he hints that he can spare an evening, that the stars are lovely outside, and maybe they should go for a walk together and appreciate them...
"No, Altair. I am busy". It's becoming ridiculous. That he should be superseded in Malik's affection by that...that...
He's outside Malik's rooms before he realizes it, and it's lucky the door is unlocked, or he would have broken it down.
Inside, Malik is sitting at his workbench, papers pushed aside to make room for the sword he is currently polishing lovingly.
"Again, Malik? Have you nothing better to do?" The other man doesn't look up from his work. He slowly runs a cloth over the hilt, caressing every ridge with methodical patience.
"What do you want, Altair? I have no time for games". Gently, he rolls the sword over and repeats the process while Altair watches and fumes.
"It seems you only ever have time for that thing, these days". He's fairly sure Malik won't notice the wobble in his voice. The other man still doesn't remove his eyes from the object of his affection. Satisfied that it has been thoroughly polished, he lifts it up, letting it catch the afternoon sun.
"That 'thing' has a name, Altair. She is Bianca, the most lovely of all swords." He tilts "Bianca", admiring the way she shines. Altair makes one more attempt to get his attention.
"Well she's clean enough for today. So perhaps you might have some time to spare this evening? We could go riding in the moonlight, and I could compose dreadful poems to express my devotion?"
He's ignored yet again.
"No, Altair. I have promised my evening to Bianca."
He storms from the room, marches back to his study, and spends the next ten minutes throwing any object he can lift. Then he sits down to make plans. The sword must go. He will tolerate no rivals.
A little while later, a novice sticks his head around the door tentatively, and then runs back to his brothers with the news that the Master is feeling better, and has a very important job for them.

Best line ever: We could go riding in the moonlight, and I could compose dreadful poems to express my devotion?
Oh Altair, we love making fun of you're terrible inability to express emotions...
Of course you can choose more numbers! The more the merrier, and I love these fills.
