Lucy's dead. The team is still grieving, upset.

Then someone pipes in, "Hey, remeber that time..."

And suddenly they're swapping stories and laughing through the tears. And she's still gone, and nothing will change that, but it hurts just a little less.

Seriously seconded, as I'm still PISSED that they screwed over dear Lucy that way. I even would've taken her being in the hospital in a coma or something, as a vehicle to show "Shit just got real" versus her being Dead For Real.

I would have taken any of the above over her death, and I recall one of the de-anons saying that it actually took quite a bit of time to bleed out from a gut wound (herself writing a fic where Lucy indeed ended up in a private clinic). The treatment of that death in Revelations didn't help either, although the now-notorious audio leak suggest that Ubisoft isn't done screwing over dear Lucy either... D=

Would suggest that any fill for this be also cross-linked over in Lucy Appreciation ( asscreedkinkmeme. dreamwidth. org /1611. html ? thread=7831371#cmt7831371 ), she can use all the (posthumous or not) love!

Turns out that there's hidden dialogue left in the Revelations game files (i.e. on console discs), the audio of which was briefly posted on YouTube before it got taken down at Ubisoft's request, the lines being Clay and Lucy-centric... as I said in the thread I linked to, my personal HeadCanon!Lucy called it "Templar postmortem character assassination."

Although, it did give me an idea for a Lucy-centric fic... which I can't put the words to, only the imagery, curse how my brain works! *all the cries*

Yes! The world need more Lucy fic, because her story was cut short so roughly.
