Muses have gone into hiding. Please bear with me.

Right now I'm torn between Desmond in a bar somewhere, ordering a pizza with prosciutto, and then continuing to speak Renaissance Italian without realising it (based on something that happened to my uncle who was doing translation work, had to use one word in a *third* language and continued to speak it for about five minutes without realising it) and a linguist!geek going *squee* all over him...

And/or Desmond in a bar somewhere chatting with Shaun about what he was seeing of the Renaissance and what Shaun knew about the Renaissance from his research, and random history!geek overhearing about some part of it and squeeing all over him.

I'll have a word with the Muses tonight, and see what I can come up with (Anon's Note: it will probably be neither of these ideas)

Take your time. My muses have the annoying tendency to do the same and then hit when I'm in the university on a lecture... I imagine the first situation would be more convenient, for it would be MUCH easier to "commandeer" Desmond somewhere quiet and secure - Shaun may prove to be to much of a resistance.
