The other side of the war

I've partly gotten over my Mass Effect 3 craze so I have returned to the AC kinkmeme! WOT! (2 months of obsession is kind of tiring, I need a break. So back to my other obsession.) All excitement on my part aside, I will prompt while browsing the prompts I missed.


The ending of one craze to become another came from an AC fanfic update. 'And When The Earth Shall Claim Your Limbs' by words without over on fanfiction.net. She has one scene early in her story where Malik is captured by Templars. It made me want something where Malik or Altair are raised to become templars. And then they meet the other who is still an assassin.

I want to see the templars as not the bad guys. They are the envisioned evil enemy but in reality they are just on the other side of a bloody war. (particularly, if you have read the fanfic, like the general or even the first templar that questions Malik. tired men who have families and do the what they think they have to) They maybe solid followers of the templar ideal or just born/raised into it. Some maybe like the targets of Altairs, good intentioned but deluded. Or some maybe actually nice people.

I would prefer romance of some sort. Friendship with hints of possibility works too.

I should also say I'm perfectly happy with them meeting and it just ending violently.

I can't imagine someone not having prompted this before so if you know of something, pointing the way would also be much appreciated.

I kinda had a prompt like this that was being filled (holy crap, back in part2 - asscreedkinkmeme.dreamwidth.org/717.html?thread=3863501#cmt3863501), but it was abandoned by the author (I found them on ff.net and tumblr and asked. Was very sad over this...)

Anywhoo...I second this one! I like this idea better, tbh. (Can I vote Altair as being the one who is kidnapped? >D)

I hate reading things that I know are abandoned. When I end up really liking it it sucks all the more when it stops. Thank you for sharing anon xD
