Personally, I can't see Desmond as a very vengeful person. I can imagine him being angry and betrayed, but not wishing death on anyone who's been his friend. In canon, I can't imagine finding out about her would make him any happier about the end of Brotherhood...

That's part of the reason I went for Ezio instead. TIME PARADOX! (Also it's been a really long time since I've played AC1, hence why Robert is probably horribly OOC. And also the differences of living in a much different world. Let's go with that.)
