Remember that old Superman one shot where he gets attacked by that plant that makes him have really bitchin awesome dreams about the normal life he could never have? How bout Altair gets attacked by the same plant (non-au, please. Superhero assassins is a whole different prompt), and dreams about the normal life he could never have had. Preferable with Malik, though Maria can get in there for some three parents action. Also, can we get reaction from everyone else in Masaf freaking out over suddenly comatose Altair, as well as trying to wake him up? And if you wanna stick the Desmond, Conner, and Ezio crews in Altair's dream world, have at it. Happy ending is optional. Angst equal serious bonus points. As well as screwy and mindfucking dream sequences.

That's my favorite superman story. He's so angry and upset after waking up, it breaks your heart... Hope it gets filled, I might even take a shot at this once I'm done with another prompt I'm working on.
