I loved every moment of this fic! Desmond finally got into the Animus to finish that part of Ezio's story, and then getting out. I like that he left a note for Robert, giving the man the choice he never was offered by the Templars. :D Go get 'em Robert. (Gah, my headcanon now for game!Robert if he succeeded in getting the Apple is that he'd eventually get bored with all the compliance... *headdesk* He probably still wouldn't give up, because the situations would be different, though....hmmm.....)

Thank you! The world idea took hold and wouldn't leave me alone. A world without people capable of violence could be either a dystopia or a utopia, or a little bit of both, especially for the people who are outside the system and so have the choice to either uphold or try to subvert it.

That's a good point about Robert and the Apple. Anybody with the drive and will to get that done couldn't be very happy once there's nothing left to do.

Anyway, thank you for the inspiring prompt and thank you for reading! I know it kind of went off in a different direction, so if somebody else also wants to fill with a different take, please do!
