Wolves and Foxes 1/1

I adore La Volpe and Il Lupo, SO YES. Hopefully OP will see this? Enjoy anons?

The moon was high and bright in the cold of the autumn night. Guards patrolled main streets without second glances at the alleyways most commonly uninhabited. Murderers and thieves normally coincided in those areas most nights and Assassins rarely made their appearances in these areas.

In truth, La Volpe enjoyed strolling along these parts. The old broken roads were bare of courtesans calling out to the guards and any lost civilian. Nothing was as peaceful than the streets many veered from day or night. The nightly walks he took were the only things he could keep to himself from the prying eyes of friends and enemies.

A pattern of soft, light footsteps made him stop abruptly. His ears strained to listen for more. They stopped with him as well. He didn't appreciate this interruption, but he didn't deny his curiosity of a fox. Looking to the shadows below and above him he could find nothing at first glance. His eyes were trained and hardened over years of using them for such occasions. Thieves were naturally observant; it was how they made a living.

He was the leader of the Florentine and Roman thieves. Of course he was cleverly brilliant. Even Ezio had troubles keeping up with his thoughts and movements. This disturbance of the night however did manage to put up some challenge. It wasn't Ezio, he mused; knowing that the Assassin's footsteps were much heavier than the light taps he heard before.

A hand was at his side to pull the sheathed dagger at his hip. In a matter of seconds after the footsteps stopped his mind raced with actions of fighting moves and dispatching the nuisance if necessary. Perhaps he could have fun this night.

"Come out, I can hear you." Gilberto called out in a smug tone. His hooded face held a smirk of his confidence. His mind assumed it was a lowly Borgia guard far too curious for his liking. Instead, he was surprised for the first time in many years of working as a thief. Nothing surprised him like this. He was always prepared, until now.

"Amusing how you heard me; I haven't met a man who has before." A low, unsettling voice spoke to him. Immediately he searched with his eyes to pinpoint the source of the voice.

"You are light in your feet, yes. Now come out so I can speak to you properly." La Volpe noticed the barest shuffle of the shadows before a man dropped before him. He spun around when he heard the whoosh of the air before the man fell several feet away from him.

"A pleasure to meet the one and only La Volpe. I have heard much about you." This man was undoubtedly wearing a hood; La Volpe couldn't see his face. What he could tell was that the man was several inches shorter and limber. Not as much muscle as Ezio, but much smaller in weight.

"Who am I acquainted with this night? I have not seen you before in my many times of short walks around here." This was the truth and La Volpe didn't bother to lie. His curiosity grew significantly each time the stranger spoke.

"Where are your manners? Perhaps you should introduce yourself properly first before I reveal myself." The man replied in a sly tone. La Volpe was enjoying this game.

"Of course, bello." He smiled secretly in his amusement. "They call me many things: Murderer. Tagliagole. Thief. But you may call me La Volpe." He gave a mock bow of courtesy.

"Bello, hm? Interesting you cannot see my person yet you give me a nickname." The stranger stepped into the moonlight in front of La Volpe. The fox could see the lower half of a pale face with a hint of a cunning smile.

"I am Il Lupo, former agent of Cesare Borgia." He gave a slight bow of his head.

La Volpe's nerves sent signals to his mind to kill the enemy where he stood. But something else told him Il Lupo wasn't here to kill him. Though his hand rested on his dagger.

"Come to kill me this night? A cowardly act coming from a man of an army-sized ego." La Volpe taunted and the stranger chuckled. A feeling rose in his gut when he heard the low laugh and noticed the flash of white teeth. Especially the sharp canines. So he was more of a wolf than he said.

"No, I have not. A woman of his, Fiora Cavazza tried to kill me when she joined the Assassins. I am without a master." Another step towards La Volpe and the other male's smirk grew.

"Oh? Searching for a new master then? What were you looking for here? A petty murderer?" He played along and he took his turn to step forward. Now they were inches apart.

"No, perhaps I shall be without. There has never been a man or woman I would consider of a high enough quality to employ me." Blue eyes flashed underneath the hood. They were icy blue and La Volpe couldn't help but search for them. His search brought him closer to the other male and now they were barely apart. A matching start of a smirk reached Il Lupo's face when La Volpe leaned to his ear.

"Perhaps I can change that." He murmured in the wolf's ear and blew hot breath over the skin. The other suppressed a shudder. His lips met Il Lupo's jawline and his hands seized the wolf's wrists gently while backing him into the stone wall of an abandoned building.

A moan escaped the other when he reached the jugular. He could feel the pulse of Il Lupo quickening as he lingered over it. He attempted to make the other move his head to expose more of his throat but the other wouldn't allow this.

"You'll have to try harder, I am not one easily moved by such weak actions." Il Lupo taunted and La Volpe took the challenge. His lips moved up the jawline they had previously placed butterfly kisses on and he could feel the other shift against him.

He kissed his chin, his nose, eyelids, but not the lips impatiently awaiting him. The younger was impatient, La Volpe noticed, but he would make him wait. His mouth moved to the shell of Il Lupo's right eat and bit lightly multiple times before sucking gently. Il Lupo let out a quiet groan in anticipation.

"You are impatient, and it makes it all the more fun to force you to wait." La Volpe remarked, pulling his head back. The other male had his lips set in a playful growl. The wolf attempted to bite the fox's lips but Gilberto pulled back enough for him to miss.

"Patience," He teased and Il Lupo huffed and turned his head away. If he wanted to play hard to get, then La Volpe would play along. His lips trailed kisses up his throat again and then his jawline before hovering just before the pouting lips. His tongue darted out and tested the other male's flesh.

Another groan brought more satisfaction. Finally he pressed his lips to the wolf's for less than a second and pulled back.

"You toy with me." The other growled and pushed himself from the wall.

"Hush," La Volpe kissed him again with more force than a simple light kiss. This time it was much fuller and he didn't part quickly. Instead, he took his time and gently moved his lips with Il Lupo. His tongue darted out again and licked the male's lips again in a request for his mouth but the other didn't comply.

Another lick but he couldn't get through Il Lupo's teeth. So he deepened the kiss by tilting his head to the side. Then he felt the other groan and quickly tackled the other male's tongue. A groan from him when Il Lupo fought with his for dominance.

Eventually La Volpe had won the small battle and left it to explore the rest of the wolf's mouth but the other quickly caught the muscle with his own and sucked. The fox moaned to his surprise.

Il Lupo pulled back; abruptly ending the heated battle of tongues and smirked to himself. La Volpe was being played with now, and he didn't enjoy it. However, a cold hand slipped up his shirt and over the warm skin of his chest over the muscles rippling underneath. La Volpe shivered from the temperature difference and the pleasure it brought.

Fingers reached an erect nipple and played. La Volpe groaned again and Il Lupo brought his lips to the thief's. Another hand followed up the shirt and to the second pink ridge and La Volpe knew he met his match.

Fingers played a little more and made it harder for La Volpe to concentrate on his task of trying to make the other squirm. As a last resort, he moved his hands to the wolf's hips and rubbed small circles with his thumbs. This earned a deep groan of intense satisfaction that made Il Lupo remove his hands from La Volpe's shirt.

His hands fell atop La Volpe's and removed his hands and broke the kiss. "I apologize, messere, but I must interrupt you. I think it would be worthwhile to make you wait." Il Lupo smirked with his apparent win. La Volpe's breaths were heavier in small pants much like the wolf's when he eyed the other who stepped away.

"You are of the Devil, boy." The fox grinned slyly. "But the next time I see you, you will be under my control." He stated suggestively. The other stepped back out of the moonlight.

"I'll keep that in mind, if you can catch me, La Volpe." He chuckled and another chill ran down the thief's spine. The tightness in his clothes under his waist didn't help the situation at all.

"I will, and I should now." Il Lupo turned on the balls of his feet and sprinted away with the fox in heavy pursuit.

He would make sure he would come out as the one in charge by the end of the night.
