But yeah...George is kind of irritatingly oblivious a lot of the time. And he didn't listen to either Connor or General Putnam when they both warned him his life was in danger.
Yeah, but he is the Patriot Commander, so a lot of people are out to kill him. I think Achilles summarized it best when he was talking to Connor after the execution, that George shouldn't know about the Templars' plot to kill him because it would only affect his ability to lead and cause him to choke or second guess his actions - which would only work in the Templars' favor.
but warnings seem to escape him somehow...
Heh, except for when Connor found out about George's role in attacking his village for the second time, just cause Connor threatened to kill him or Haytham if they planned on stopping him, and Connor is good at keeping his word when it comes to killing people.
