I felt like I was reading the poem for the first time again, because - well - Ezio. Master Assassin! And, hell, Leonardo is a genius weapon's inventor! Surely there was a chance for a happy ending this time!
Nooope. Nope nope nope. I should have known better.
The ending hurts the worst. Ghostly remnants of a horrific murder, an eternal loop of joy to horror. The Master Assassin who had already lost everything, losing it again, just the slightest bit too far, too slow, too weak to do anything about it. It's the same song and dance every single time.
*CRYING*
Wonderful job though, really. This was an excellent take on that poem.
