So that's it? It was all just a ridiculous shaggy dog story plot to bring Juno back? I'm so pissed, because it means everything Desmond and all of them went through, everything Clay went through, was completely pointless. Even Connor gets a terrible ending. I'm even more pissed because Clay is my favorite and there's so many little hints scattered around, like the thing in the encyclopedia about his part maybe not being over yet, that I was hoping so much that we'd get just a little bit more of him, and there was nothing.

And who the hell was the guy talking over that last bit after the epilogue where you're gathering up those Animus data things? I kept hoping for a little bit more story but it was just to unlock cheats. I do not want "Vegas baby, Vegas!" to be the last thing I get from this damn game.

Fuck I am so not ready to wait AGAIN for another game to answer questions and wrap everything up. That was supposed to be what this one did, Ubisoft!

It is very hard for Connor to NOT pet and feed the adorable animals he came across in towns, and animals (unless he's hunting them) quite like the guy too. He even managed to befriend a bear who eventually became his ally in the forest and scared those wolves away.

I'd like to see people's reaction to this.

Around the end of sequence 8 when Connor gets thrown in prison, the gaurds (and Charles Lee at that little end bit) were giving off some VERY creepy vibes and my mind went straight to the gutter. So, prison gangbang, anyone? Utter humiliation is a must.

I couldn't agree more, except the way I interpreted Connor was such that he would only occasionally flirt back. Most times, he would come across coquettishly without even realizing it. Other times, when he's being fully intentional about it, I think he would drop hints around the place and expect everone else to pick them up 0w0

Like, he probably thinks 'look dude/dudette, i'm trying to compliment your skill and kinda sorta highkey want to kiss you, but if you're too dense to understand, then that's on you bruh'.

Or, you can make him a bit more romantically assertive like his mom ;3 (though, i personally prefer very slightly romantically-awkward!Connor than anything else). OP you're so awesome for mentioning this; I thought this too when I saw the game (via a walkthrough on Youtube), especially with the Homesteaders (who are all probably in love with Connor and vice versa - I'M. DEAD. SURE. OF. IT.).

Modern AU, Haytham tries to be a Dad

Haytham spends a nice summer in the USA. He meets Ziio and really, she's the only reason why his summer was nice in the first place. She was a lovely woman but unfortunately, Haytham had to go back to Britain after his vacation was over.

Then, a few months later, he finds out that Ziio was pregenant when he left. She sent him a letter, explaining everything and basically saying 'Help or don't, whatever you think is better for you' because Ziio understands he lives a completely different life back in Britain. And Haytham is stuck in this limbo of 'I have a son!! :D' and 'Holy shit I have a kid, what do I do?!' He learns to live with the idea that he has a son in the US but that they're all leading different lives.

Until a few years later Haytham learns that Ziio died. And his son, around 15 years of age, is now living with someone Haytham doesn't know.

He decides that things need to change and flies to the US to finally meet his son. Connor is about as happy, confused and angry as one might expect.

Their relationship is rocky, filled with half-playful, half-annoyed banter and spats and trying to bond. Haytham really has to struggle with the relationship with Connor, who is unusually sweet and calm for his age but also has a terrible temper when he wants to and really, it's exhausting and confusing for both.

I don't nessecarily want a happy ending where everything is sunshine and flowers but I'd appreciate it if it ended with both if them respecting the other and occasionally acting family-affectionate with each other.

Bonus points for Connor being close friends with Altair, Ezio and Desmond, depite the fact that they're much older than he is (30ish?). They're all part of the 'My family is messed up' club.

As a highly skilled assassin, although one young and somewhat naive, I would imagine Connor would have been one of the most efficient Templar agents of all history had Haytham managed to convert him to their cause. In fact, I'm shocked he didn't revert to more extreme measures in order to recruit his son.

So, during their time together, Haytham starts off small, telling him half-truths and lies about Connor's mother and why he defected from the assassins. Maybe he goes so far as to gaslight Connor about what happened with his village and their previous almost-encounters. He plays Lee off as a pawn. Discovering Washington's orders regarding the Iroquois nations is a stealth mission, Haytham didn't know exactly what George had ordered, but it's lucky they set off to find the incriminating evidence as soon as he heard something was going down, wasn't it?

Soon, he starts using more torturous methods to convince Connor that he's right. Emotional abuse is played off as just cultural differences, being desperate to save people from themselves, trying to make others see Connor as he is and not as a savage, those are the real reasons Haytham seems mean, there's no manipulation going on, honestly...

To prove his point about order and control, about how free will is evil, he sets a couple of sadistic rapists on his son- those men hurt so many women in the same way, isn't it lucky Daddy happened to be nearby? How terrible it is that he was just a bit too late to stop them. Aren't people just so horrible? Connor's kindness and respect for people is rare, if only everybody were more like him... Oh, but they can be, with just a little nudge.

And slowly, but surely, Connor is indoctrinated into the Templar order, and by the time the Assassins and their allies know what's going down... well, it's a bit late.
