Oh God Connor... he's so dependent on Haytham now that he lies about the hell he went through and passes it off as nothing. I fear if he were to find out that Haytham was his father all along and planned this torture out from the beginning ... it would just break him completely.

I read the 20th part, then went to study, and I come back to find that the 21st part is up too! *_* I love you WriterAnon. You can have all my babies, Internets, and fiery, burning anus any day. :) I'm so jealous of OP!Anon right now, as they were lucky enough to get this amazing fill! LUCKY OP. It was a great prompt though, to be fair.

That being said, you are a cruel, cruel mistress WriterAnon. You'd gotten me to the point where I was hoping for Haytham to come back because then things MIGHT get better for Connor. ;-; Never mind the fact that Haytham's the one who orchestrated all of this, which makes him the biggest bastard of them all.

Is it bad that I love Hickey in this fic? Cause I love Hickey in this fic. He's wonderfully conniving and sneaky. I find myself wondering what he's up to, even though it's quite probably gonna be bad for Connor. My poor baby. *wails*

At this point, I can only hope Achilles will swoop in with the recruits to save Connor at the end, or that Haytham will start treating him better once he realizes Connor's actually his son.
