Connor, self-harm

Connor's had a fairly traumatic life. He's got a lot of stressful things to do, like save his village and hunt Templars before they hunt him. He's had to do some very horrible things and he's often treated badly because of his ethnicity. Sometimes he can't just beat up a pack of redcoats to blow off some steam... like when he's on a long, difficult mission or is on a voyage on the Aquila.

He doesn't do anything really bad to himself, he needs to be able to fight and climb and stuff, after all, and he can't let the Aquila crew or the Homesteaders or the Recruits know. So he just... does little things. Scalds some skin on the back of his hand with spilt candlewax. Doesn't try too hard to avoid his fingers when he slices vegetables. Skips a couple of meals occasionally. Burns his tongue with a hot drink every now and again.

...It's not that bad, he reasons. After all, he's coping. More or less. And in a twisted sort of way, the pain makes him feel better.

Up to anon if his loved ones find out and try to help him channel his frustrations and problems into more healthy ways of coping. I guess it would make sense for this to take place near the game's ending?
