Other writer!anon agrees with anon above, such a warm hearted scene of Connor apologizing and finally trusting Charles, too bad Connor is convinced Charles is in love with his father... Oh what a shock that will be when the confession comes out

Too true! But I wonder if Connor may actually for Lee before that happens... Lee did save his life... and his virginity ^^; cause I doubt those Templars were going to kill the captured Omega first.

They may or may not have. On the one hand, they were trained Templars at one point, and it is the height of stupidity to stop in the middle of a battle to rape someone. On the other, they were a vicious lot that didn't have the ability to become higher ranked members who are probably very bitter over the fact that their old Grandmaster and his second-in-command would rather ally with an Assassin than give them whatever it was that they wanted but didn't receive from the Templar Order. And rage makes people do stupid things. :)

If Lee keeps this up, Connor may well begin to fall for him. :D

Ah, I thought they planned on using Connor to get Haytham to surrender.
Or raping his son during the fight would make Haytham mess up. Or that Haytham couldn't touch them being locked in a fight on his own. But also yeah, Templar grunts - especially the ones Church managed to get to follow him - weren't very bright (and why did they all look the same in the game?!). Well glad Charles saved Connor (because he's determined to claim Connor's heart and virginity for himself)

Sorry, my mind is always in the gutter. I kind of miss writing the smut in Honeymoon, and afraid that if I start too soon in First Word, none of my stories will ever be finished.

Your smut was the best too...//sighs wistfully// So delish. So angsty. But the storytelling elements you're focusing on in First Word is incredible. Difficult choice between the two, but I assume the smut will appear once Charles weds Connor. :D

Heh, thanks anon. I think when I started writing Honeymoon - a looong time ago - I was planning it to be 10% smut and 90% plot... and then Charles just sort of switched those around.

Oh most definitely! I have an one-shot already planned out for this non-noncon honeymoon. Though it's going to be weird writing non-rapist!Charles.

So agree. That's one of the hardest parts about In Pursuit of Happiness. He starts off creepy given all the events in Chasing Revenge and all, but now I'm trying to rehabilitate him.
