The breaking of Haytham Kenway

After Haytham and Connor's final falling out Haytham is captured by someone - Assassins, Patriots, Redcoats, mercenaries, whatever. They proceed to systematically torture him, both for information and for fun. Quite a bit later Connor happens upon his captors' lair and finds his father there, who is now a broken shell of a man. Connor can't bring himself to kill him, or even feel angry at him anymore. He rescues him and nurses him back to (physical) health, while awkwardly trying to comfort him emotionally, while actually missing the proud, sarcastic, condescending man he once knew.

Bonus points for Connor/Haytham but that's not necessary.

First of all, thank you!

Regarding what I want, you can...add noncon to the torture if you don't mind. Also, Haytham coming to think that all those horrible things done to him are some kind of karmic payback for all the awful things he's done in his life.
