All fanfiction is good fanfiction. You are practicing and learning so it is good.

I agree. We all started somewhere. For me, it was crappy Spyro and Megaman NT Warrior fanfiction with liberal Mary Sues and horrible plots. That said, I needed those shit years to start unearthing my good writing. You can always, always improve, no matter who you are, famous or not, published or in a paper diary - as long as you stick to it and know that we won't banish yo u for making mistakes. I've got my Pom Poms on to support you, Nonny!

*shudder* I've been there with the Mary Sues. Anyone else remember just writing and forging ahead without a plot?

Mary Sues are hilarious, especially the ones written by children. I never really made Mary Sues, though, on the count that I only started making OCs a few years ago, and they were background characters.

I still write stories without plots to this day, and wonder why I always get writers block and discontinue them. Lol. I have a lot of learning to do. :P

Oh man, I was 11, and I had MS's that were romantically involved with Izzy from Digimon and Cheetor from Beast Wars- oh man. Later on there was one who dated George Weasley. Those were fun. I wouldn't ever let someone else read them, even then, but I did love them.

I only roughly plan what I'm doing with the plot, if at all. The characters tend to react as the situation comes along and that's how I write.
