OP here. The only requirement was Connor and a kitten, so this is great! I was thinking of the difference in size if you were wondering about the prompt. The kitten I found was very small, 4-5 weeks of age after looking at his teeth. The kitten is the size of my hand, and my hands are pretty small. Connor, however, is very large. His hand would swallow that kitten whole.

Yay! OP-approved, that means I can continue it!

Hehe, I know I goofed up on the size. Originally, I wanted to make the kitten really, really small, but I have absolutely no concept of how mobile the really cute and tiny ones are. Never had any pets growing up and am too squeamish to adopt one myself — even though I really want to rescue and raise one — on the count of my allergies. Since my neighbor’s cat has kittens, who are pretty small, but still large enough to roam around, I went with their general size.

Lol. Funny enough, I always forget how big Connor is — that sounds completely wrong, after I read this aloud. Oh, well… perhaps, I’ll put another, smaller kitten into the story as competition? :) Thanks for reading, by the by, it means a lot to me whenever someone takes the time to read the rubbish I write.

OP again. 4-5 weeks is apparently when they become pretty mobile XD Runs pretty quick. Have you tried looking for charts on kitten aging, A!A?

I went with Haytham for his name btw. Talkative and gives me sass. Tattles on his sister too.

Hey, again. :D Lol, looking at charts would make me a responsible writer\researcher, which I'm not by any means. In the future, though, I will bear in mind that anything I don’t know the answer to, I can just look it up on the internet.

Aw, how adorable. I so want to adopt, now, it’s not even funny—its affected me so much, that I’m having a hard time continuing the story.
