No Man Is An Island

Altair had Malik. Ezio had Leonardo. Desmond has (reluctantly) Shaun and Rebecca. Is it just me, or is Connor the only one of the Assassin Family that doesn't have a brother/best friend equivalent at his side?

He needs one. I challenge you, anons, give him the friend he needs!

That's what I thought too.

To be honest, I was really hoping that Haytham would end up as Connor's best bud, but alas, it was not made so.

Regardless...

Seconding this!

I thought Kanen'tó:kon was like a weird version of this, considering the end of his story. Up until then, though, he was a total bro!

I agree let it be Kanen'tó:kon! You can't say no to his chubby cheeks!

About that, I was playing the game and going through the Homestead missions, and I realized: Connor's 'Assassin buddy' isn't one person - it's all of them. The recruits, the Homesteaders, the Aquila's crew, they're all so close to him. It really strikes me as what Ubisoft was aiming for. Unlike the Villa or the Brotherhood Assassins, you talk to these people and help them out and watch them live their lives. I guess it depends on how you play the game, but in the end, Connor ends up with a big, happy family.
