OMG UPDATE!

Do I detect hints that Haytham is getting genuinely attached to Connor? (Having a weakness for his curiosity, thinking his face is beautiful, etc.) Which... really makes what he's actually doing all the more disturbing.

WriterAnon, you tickle my fancy with these frequent updates. :D You're the best! Seriously, this fic makes my day/holiday season/life.

This chapter was much lighter reading than the past few, for which I am heartily grateful. It's like a "breather" from all the awful shit that's happened. Good on you for knowing when to break up bad stuff with not-so-bad stuff.

Loved the scene of Haytham shaving Connor. I thought it was adorable, and Haytham was so careful not to hurt him (though not for purely kind and loving reasons though...) And I'm looking forward to Haytham learning how to tree-run! I bet he'll be way worse at it then Connor. >:D

But Haytham's mind trickery is starting to affect Connor...and I'm also wondering what Hickey's up to...STAY STRONG CONNOR. ;-;
