George Washington. Sorry I didn't make it clear, I'm a bit sleep deprived atm. Connor was planning to pretend to not know Washington is dead, and have Sam tell him the bad news, so he would seem innocent. I'll probably do a flashforward in the ao3 version. >_<

Is it bad that I don't mind terribly that Connor killed Washington? I mean, he was an asshole in the game, so...he kind of deserved it. I am a terrible American for saying that, probably. ._. Ah, well.
