Hunger Games fusion

No! Hear me out, anon! This isn't a completely terrible prompt!

In the distant future, after a terrible civil war, the regular citizens of Panem live in twelve districts. Each district must offer two tributes between the ages of twelve and eighteen (one male, one female) to fight to the death in the annual Hunger Games, run by the aristocratic citizens of the Capitol. This year, however, is a Quarter Quell- every twenty-five years, there are variations in the usual rules, to make things more difficult for competitors. For instance... having each district offer four tributes rather than two, and forcing all past tributes still living to recompete.

Some ideas:

-Ezio is one of the most infamous, legendary victors, and has finally managed to put the horrors of his Games behind him... only to be torn from his beloved wife and daughter and forced to enter the tournament again.
-The Colonial Templars form an alliance almost immediately, and are thought to be most likely to win... prompting an awesome assassin team-up with everybody's favourite badasses.
-Backstories! Perhaps Desmond is from the same district as Altair or Ezio, and was trained by one of them? Maybe Charles Lee was mentored by Haytham? Does a Solomon's Temple-esque incident still occur? Was William a victor back in the day?
-Juno is the Game master, or the president or something.

The idea just won't leave my head, ok. I have like four fills on the go... so please oblige OP?

I hated Snow, and I hate Juno in the same way, and this would just be perfect.

Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but I started free writing and four pages later I have a few drabbles I can clean and post soon.

Wow, I wasn't expecting anybody to actually have an interest in the prompt! I would love to see whatever you've come up with, I'm sure it will be brilliant :)
