Malik/Altair, Malik never lost his arm

While trolling around in the Altmal tag on tumblr, I came across a post that really hit home:

I want something where Malik's missing arm had been nothing but an illusion created by Al Mualim and, after Altair kills him and obtains the Apple, Malik regains his "lost" arm.

Cue fluffiness and "I'm so relieved you're okay"-sex.

I prefer top!Malik, but whatever floats your boat~

Just to let you know that I haven't forgotten this. But it keeps growing and growing in my mind so that this bit might just turn out as one part or very long chapter of something much, much bigger.
