The Chaperone

Anon got to thinking (dangerous I know) and i couldn't help but think that if Connor went on a "date" Achilles would want to tag along (cause hey, Connor is a young naive kid let's be realistic for a sec :P) and chaperone the date to make sure no hanky-pankey went on, if you know what i mean.

Anyway! so Anon wants to see a meddlesome Achilles messing up Connor's date, being the typical parent and making comments about how wandering hands lose fingers and such.

Drabble fill: Arms Length Apart 1/1

Writer!anon cracked like the weakling she was. Despite having two projects already in the works, she will drabble this. Achilles is an elusive personality, so writer apologizes for the fail about to take place. x_x

"Arms length apart, kids."

Connor resisted the urge to groan and instead yanked his hand out of Aveline's, crossing his arms and putting on a spectacular pout. Aveline looked both amused and embarrassed at having been caught - again.

Connor was on his first "date", if you could even call it that. Old man Achilles had insisted on coming along for whatever reason - something about wandering hands or loosing fingers or some such nonsense. Connor was stuck with nothing to do - no holding hands, no first kiss, nothing. The knowledge that all the boys in his class had already participated in such events made it that much more insulting. He was fifteen, for heaven's sake!

"You're such an embarrassment," Connor grumbled to his adoptive father. Achilles merely rolled his eyes and turned to a new page in the paper.

"Like I haven't heard that story before. Tell you what boy, when you can pin me in the training ring, I'll let you do whatever you damn well like. Until then, suck it up."
