There's no excuse for William punching Desmond in the face, though. And there's NO excuse for William not saying, "This thing is gonna kill you, son? Can I do it instead?" *hands William a giant Darwin Award*

If I write the sequel I've been considering, my fellow William-haters will probably cheer at points. And then they will say, "Why'd you have to put him in at all?" Um, plot? But first I have to finish this one, which since I've written several of the last few scenes, means I have to work on what comes next, IN ORDER, sigh. Preview: I think there may be a songfic chapter.
