I saw this one picture in which Ezio and Altair, both elderly, are giving Ratonhnhake:ton, a child, a hidden blade, thereby passing on the Assassin legacy to him. I also read this fanfic in which Altair, as a ghost, uses the Apple to save Ratonhnhake:ton from Lee and the other members of the Inner Circle as well as help him save Ziio.

What I would like to see is Ratonhnake:ton being watched over by any or all of these three as ghosts: Ezio, Altair, and/or Edward (the last would make the most sense as he's Ratonhnhake:ton's grandfather). And Ratonhnake:ton sees them as well (perhaps through Eagle Vision, perhaps they allow themselves to be seen by him,maybe a mix of the two, or through some strange supernatural loophole?).

However it works, he's initially very confused that his friends and family can't see them. Perhaps, they tell him stories from their past lives. Perhaps they give him lessons on combat. Perhaps they play children's games with him. What I definitely would like to see is when Lee and the others attack Ratonhnake:ton and Altair/Ezio/Edward suddenly become solid temporarily, go all protective mode ("Get your filthy hands off my descendent!") and promptly kicks their asses.
