Well I liked that we got to see Adé's death. I think it would have been worse if he was just dismissed from the continuity and not included in Rogue. For me it sort of gave closure to one of my favorite characters. Moreover it was dignified in both Adé's and Shay's actions. There were no gloating or true cruelness in it, but kind of bittersweet (an echo of Haytham's death or maybe his death was the echo of Adé's.) The only unfulfilling bit for me was that we saw no real interaction between Adé and Haytham. And that there weren't more of them both in the game.
But: To those who are saying that Adé's death was too much I would like to ask exactly what was too much? Was it the way that he died or the fact that you as the player killed him or the fact that he died (which should be kinda given, him being a 18th century pirate and all that)?
