Anon, check out "The Garde of the Hesperides" over at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5598411/1/. Altair's essence is not necessarily sad, but he is lonely...and aggressive...and teaches Ezio a few, uh "lessons." It's beautiful fic and sounds right up your alley.

I've read that story. While it's very good, I was hoping for a fill where Altair is more... bottomy. :)
