How set are you on the roles?

While I'm not entirely sure who would go where in the Fire Nation, I could totally see Desmond as Aang - ie, the Avatar who ran away, the naive one who gets possessed by previous Avatars when things go badly. . . (Featuring Altair as Roku, Fire Nation, sort-of cause of the war, and there for Malik to glare angrily at.) That would make relationships nice and messy, though!

Now, for some reason, I'm picturing Ezio as Avatar Kuruk (I mean, the latter is arrogant, gifted, a total ladies' man, who was also forced to witness the death/disappearance of someone close to him-- sound like anyone we know?).

To be honest, I am pretty set on the main characters. I thought I would like to see a different side/version of the Avatar series.

And maybe because I'm craving for more Altair/Malik fics...*cough*

Although, yes, I can actually see how Desmond could also fit the role as Aang. Uhm, what else do you have in mind if you don't mind me asking?

Anon couldn't give you epic, OP, and this is something that deserves to be epic if tackled properly. I could maybe do snippets for a part-fill?

I'm having issues sorting out who goes where and having it work in the context of the whole. Like. . . who to cast as Azula and Iroh. XD One thing that /could/ sorta swing is putting in Al Mualim for Ozai, BitchesDon'tKnowAboutMyPots!Rafiq for Iroh?, Altair for Zuko continually trying to please his father/master until he finds out he's on the wrong side, etc. But then do you put Malik in as Mai-of-knives or Jet-of-crazy? That wasn't what you asked for, I know. So I keep tripping over my own brain. Sorry, OP!

OH GOD PLEASE LET MALIK BE JET. He can lose his family in the fire and Kadar can be a Freedom Fighter! :D hello, Jetko fan here

Granted, I know it's not what OP wants but I like this version A LOT.

OP here is now confused because I also think Malik would fit in that role. And anything for Kadar cameo is a definite plus for me!

OP is just very grateful that you are willing to tackle this no matter what, so I am far from picky. ^^

I'm sorry though that I seem to have given you trouble deciding the roles. Hah, even I have a hard time myself.


But OMG I love me some BitchesDon'tKnowAboutMyPots!Rafiq as Iroh! (And Hello! Fellow SassyCreed Fan!) He could be talking about pots instead of tea!

Snippets are fine by me. It's pretty hard to make an adaptation of a long-ass series.


Altair does fit the Zuko role indeed! And as for Malik? I will let you decide anon - I give you liberty to chose which role you feel suits the best!
