“Did you know the master could sing?” “No, but if I had….oooooh~” “Shush, I can’t hear!” The girls at Giovanni’s table sighed in rapture. Pressing close together they giggled and pretended to swoon. Fanning themselves at an imaginary heat. The guys, for their part, while impressed that their master could sing, rolled their eyes at the girls reactions.

Giovanni leaned against his hand dreamily. He didn’t see the rest of the room. He didn’t hear the reactions of the people around him. His eyes were on Ezio, his ears picked on the rising and falling timbre of his voice. It was….it was….heavenly.

Ezio finished his slow walk. Carefully leaning into the space between two assassins on the opposite of the table where Giovanni sat, curling his leg for support as he settled on the table. He wished Leonardo was here, so he could demand that he eternalize the expression on his lover’s face.

He leaned closer to his piccolo, his love. Not quite close enough to kiss. Not quite close enough to lean their foreheads together. But just close enough so they could look into each other’s eyes…and allows their breaths to mix…

Today was the final piece he needed to see all of the puzzle. In hindsight, each piece in of itself was blanantly obvious. But that was then. Now that he knew, he could stop it. Machiavelli frowned at the floor as he went over his decision again in his mind. Yes, it needed to happen. So he entered Ezio’s office. No knock, no announcement.

“Ezio, this fling you are having with apprentice Giovanni must stop.”

Writer!Anon note: D: Oh noes! Machiavelli found out! There's only one more series of parts, and then a sort of epilogue. What happens in them you'll just have to wait for~

I sincerely apologize for the delay: I was fasting, internet-for-fun-timez-wise for health purposes. Now that I am back ...

Man, I cannot tell you how much I want to slap Machiavelli right now, other than the fact that I can't stand that guy in AC2 and Brotherhood (I just can't seem to trust him); just when this relationship was blooming, he just has to go and ruin it. Errgh

Ezio singing is quite a surprise: However, if I do think about it, his deep voice is very pleasant to hear, and it has that sly lilt to it. Giovanni must definitely find it hard to resist, especially in the sack (ehehehe ... this is where my mind starts getting naughty).

The best thing I like about this collection of short pieces is that you incorporate others, making it seem all the more realistic instead of just focusing on the both of them. Keep it up! Those inputs from the female recruits just boosts Ezio's appeal!

Writer anon is still squishy happy that you continue to love this fill. And you don't need to apologize for the delay. I was taking a break myself and writing other things so this story didn't suffer from me trying to force myself to finish it.

But writing the ending piece as I speak~ Probably be up in the next day or two
