Okay, so when Ezio talks to French guards in one of the missions,
he is able to fool the guard with his French.
I know NOTHING about French, and I have no idea how well Ezio talked in the said language, but being able to fool French guard who was born in FRANCE? That takes some skill.
This anon would love to see Ezio using French to seduce any close member, whether it be Machiavelli or Leonardo, and charming them.
...Because French is supposed to be charming and romantic, amirite?:D

Well, damn it. Now I have an image of Ezio saying, "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi (ce soir)?"

Yes, I know it's grammatically correct, but I think whoever fills this should write Exio saying this as well for extra lulz. :D

Uuuuuh he's saying that to Leonardo, right ? Then it would be " Veux tu coucher avec moi ? " =D
And if anon needs a traduction of what's written in italic in the fic, I would be VERY glad to do it. ^^

Italian vs. French

Also, French!Anon finds Italian to be more sexy and smooth than French. XD But anyway, aren't all the languages sweet to hear, when it's about love ? <3

A fair woman sat on the steps of the old ruin, combing the hair of her lover with long, nimble fingers. Ezio watched, rubbing the ache in his left hand. He had spied his friend already, walking from the far side of the aqueduct, his head bowed low.

It was the Borgia that did this, piling such weights on Leonardo's shoulders. Even so, Ezio's oldest friend paused as he came across the scene, his a smile curving his lips. He glanced up, catching sight of Ezio on the bench, and the smile grew wider. The artist tried not to rush, keeping his afternoon stroll as uneventful as the watching Borgia guards would report it. Ezio sat forwards, clasping his hands. The two guards who lingered on the rooftops were only charged with making sure Leonardo did not escape. They had no worry about him meeting with assassino. If they did suspect, well Ezio had his own watchers.

"The French soldiers have left," Leonardo said, stretching his legs out in front of him. He coughed, rubbing his shoulder. "Taking with them all Cesare's good humour."

Ezio's hands tightened to fists. He could see one of the guards on the roof, gazing at an eagle, taking a break in the late summer heat.

"And I hear Pantasilea Baglioni is safe." Leonardo sat forwards, his shoulder brushing Ezio's. "That is good."

Ezio could feel his tendons pushing against the trigger of his hidden blade. His teeth ground together.

"You did well, Ezio."

"If not for your inventions . . ." He shivered, despite the heat.

"Amici," Leonardo half mused. He seemed distracted by the woman, now caressing her lover's face. She reached for an apple by her skirts and took the knife he proffered, slicing through the red flesh. "I wish that I could help you further, old friend."

The guard had walked to the far side of the roof. Ezio reached for Leonardo's hand. "I wish that I could take my solace from you once more, my friend."

"Ezio?" Leonardo frowned. "What?"

Ezio smirked, releasing Leonardo's hand as the Borgia came back into view. "I wish that I could throw you down right at this moment, we could show those innocents what love is. I would kiss you, taste your skin. I would bite that shoulder that bothers you and make you forget that pain. I would hold you and stroke you and make you scream so loudly Cesare himself comes running to find you."

Leonardo licked his lips, his gaze straying to the Borgia on the roof. "How did you learn French, amici?"

"You would not be liking the answer to that."

Leonardo cleared his throat and sat backwards, using his hands to mask how Ezio affected him. "If you will not act on whatever foul suggestions you are making . . ." he gasped.

Ezio laughed and rose to his feet. Buono fortuna he had appropriated an abandoned building near here for the courtesans. He extended a hand to Leonardo. "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?"

Leonardo took his hand. "I'm not sure what you said, but I believe my answer is yes. If only . . ." he nodded to the guard.

Ezio shrugged. "I wouldn't worry, amor," he said. Guiding his friend towards the buildings. He placed two fingers in his mouth and whistled. "They will be a little . . . distracted, I think."
