Re: High School AU?
(Anonymous) 2011-01-18 02:38 pm (UTC)(link)Although can it be Frederico and Kadar together? It's an AU and this oddly placed pairing makes me smile.
OP
(Anonymous) 2011-01-18 05:34 pm (UTC)(link)And sure, I don't mind at all! Feel free to throw those two together!
Masyaf High - Home of the Assassins (1/??)
(Anonymous) 2011-01-19 12:02 am (UTC)(link)It wasn't his fault the other student was such an ass! He couldn't change their upbringing. If anything, he was attempting to fix it. Plus, that comment about his sister could not have been let go, if he was a decent older brother anyway. And he most certainly was!
In defense of his sister's honor, he was stuck in the little waiting area in the office, slouching uncomfortably on a small plastic chair. His arms were crossed moodily over his chest and his glare could have spoiled eggs. He glanced up when someone dared to enter the room.
"Ah, Ezio," a voice far too kind for highschool sounded in the room.
Not able to help himself, his annoyance softened slightly. He even sat up a little straighter. "Mr. Da Vinci," he said, slowly.
The blond art teacher with the strangely arranged red berret smiled at him. The man was young, eccentric and more scatterbrained than a bag of children's marbles. He was the perfect example of an artist.
He also made Ezio's heart and stomach do funny little flips whenever he was near.
"I see you got into another fight," he said, lightly, still smiling.
Ezio's sourness returned. His arms tightened over his chest and he looked away petulantly. "They started it," he grumbled.
Leonardo Da Vinci, moved to sit down next to him. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked, kindly.
"There is nothing to talk about," he replied in an almost snappish way. "I was only making sure they learned their lesson."
"What lesson would that be?" Leonardo asked, not at all put off by Ezio's angry responses.
Ezio glanced at him out of the corner of his eye. The older man was still smiling gently and looked very much like he wanted to help. He couldn't help but feel a bit calmer. Somehow, the artist always made him reach a small amount of peace no one else could. Although, it would later lead to much termoil in his system. He could never remember being affected so much by another male. Unless, of course, he counted the rather terrifing encounter with the school's janitor, Mr. La Volpe. Then again, nearly every Freshman (or particularly innocent looking upperclassmen), had had some sort of moment with the janitor.
"That one can not insult an Auditore and get away with it," he responded finally.
Leonardo nodded, as if in some form of agreement. "Doesn't that sound a bit arrogant?" He asked, reaching up to fix his nearly always tilted hat.
Ezio started slightly. He dropped his arms and twisted to look at the blond male. "Arrogant?" He repeated, eyes wide but furious. "How can it be arrogant? They were insulting my sister!" His sister was very dear to him and not even Leonardo could get away with saying that picking a fight over her was wrong.
"Ah, this is what you were doing," Leonardo returned, gently. Once again, it was clear that Ezio's anger was not off setting at all. "Now, you see, had you said it that way, then I would never assume you've got a big head." That made Ezio blink. "If it was for your sister, then it is understandable." He started to stand up, patting his paint-splattered jeans as he did so. "Family is very important but next time, try not to get caught defending it," he said, shooting the young man a wink. He smiled brilliantly. "I shall see you in painting class tomorrow, Mr. Auditore."
With a cheerful wave, the artist was up and out of the office.
Ezio blinked again, in confusion. Why had the man even come here in the first place? Was it to talk to Ezio? He shook those thoughts away. What was it to him what the man did with his spare time? Honestly, he was just an art teacher.
Re: Masyaf High - Home of the Assassins (1.5/??)
(Anonymous) 2011-01-19 12:03 am (UTC)(link)"I shall talk to my son, Lorenzo," Giovani was saying as he moved out.
Lorenzo nodded. "Please do. These visits are starting to make me tired." As he said this a strange look crossed the man's features, like he was hiding a secret that only Giovani knew the answer to.
Giovani smirked. "Come, Ezio," he said imperiously to his son.
Ezio stood to follow.
"Ezio," Lorenzo called just before he and his father had stepped out. "You really must learn to control that temper."
Then, they were out of the school walking toward the family car. It was by the car that Ezio's oldest brother was standing, looking smug. He, too, was sporting a black eye. He pushed himself off of the sleek, black, Mercedes and stepped toward his family.
"Father," he greeted. "I hope baby Ezio didn't get into too much trouble."
Giovani arched an eyebrow. "Just as much as you'll be when you get home."
Frederico spluttered. "What? I didn't do anything!"
"Oh yea? Then what happened to your face," Ezio snapped as the two brother's slid into the backseat.
"The same thing that happened to yours, although, my injury doesn't take away my beautiful features," Frederico replied, a childish twinge to his voice.
"Boys!" Giovani cut in just as Ezio was about to slam his fist into Frederico's arms. "Stop fighting and not just with each other, but with the rest of the school," he said, letting that parental disappointment seep into his words. "It's starting to get exhausting to have to come and explain to Mr. de Medici why I should even let you continue to stay in his school. This better be the last time I hear about either of you picking fights," he said, as he expertly manouvered the car through traffic. "Do you understand me?"
"Yes, sir," they replied in sync.
Frederico and Ezio both crossed their arms and stared grumpily out of their windows. Neither one spoke for the rest of the car ride home.
((Stupid effin' word count screwin' crap up. D:<))

Ezio's all twitterpated. <3 Also giggled at the "scatterbrained" line.
Loved the little hint of G/L. Overall, I can't wait to read more of this! I don't know how I've done without teacher!Leo/student!Ezio until now. XD
