“I thought they didn’t have any bowel problems.”
“They don’t. Rebecca Crane managed to get Viagra shipped here. She and Lucy – oops, Ms. Stillman, you know how she gets if we don’t show ‘respect for our elders’ - were gossiping over which one of them was having the problem. I think they decided it was Desmond.”
“Poor bloke. He has a rough time as it is, being married to Shaun. I swear, I’ve never met a man that grumpy about being told he’s too old to be working.”
“It could be worse. He could be stuck with Rebecca. Remember when she was trying to flirt with that delivery man? The one you said was quite handsome?”
“Was that the one Stillman called a ‘young-whippersnapper’ despite the fact that he was twenty-seven?”
“No, that was the one she accused of being a woman because of the length of his hair.”
“Thanks. I’d been trying to forget that one.”
“You’re welcome.”
“That’s it. Next time Desmond thinks he’s an Italian playboy and starts flirting with the staff, you deal with him.”
