Ezio/Leonardo - role playing as each other.

Except they fail at staying in character and end up exaggerating each other's personalities. Their sexytimes basically derail into laughing at what they're doing, but they're having fun anyway.

I need this. I'd take it but I'm so far behind on two other fills, so I desperately hope another anon takes this prompt.

My husband and I do this when we argue. Best thing ever to diffuse tension and we end up dying of laughter every time.

Am... am I getting ideas for sexy conflict resolution from the AC kink meme? Yes. Yes, I am.

Mocking Bird [1/x]

(Anonymous) 2011-02-08 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
Leonardo da Vinci had an amazing ability to almost never be angry. He was always cheerful and never snapped at other people. Although, he could very easily be upset with himself, few saw it directed elsewhere. There was only a select number of people who could, say that they caused the artists' fury.

And one Ezio Auditore seemed to have made it his life goal to remain at the top of the list.

On this particular day, word of Ezio's latest exploits had reached Leonardo's ears. Normally such news wouldn't bother him, but only three nights ago, he and the assassino had changed their relationship entirely. With those memories so fresh and clear, the rumors only infuriated him.

He was currently sitting in front of a wide canvas mocking the man that had so recently shared his bed.

"I'm a famous assassino who can do whatever I want," he said in a deep, deep voice as he stabbed a paint brush at the canvas. "I can leap off of rooftops and swing into windows without letting anyone know I'm even coming over!" As he spoke his voice sounded very much like a bear if it had suddenly gained a voice box.

Obviously, he was trying to imitate the Venezia Ghost but was only barely succeeding.

"No! I can do anything I want. Why?" He paused to pull in a deep breath and puff up his chest. "Because I'm Ezio Auditore!" He bellowed. His throat couldn't keep the baritone much longer and the result was a slight squeaking at the end of the statement.

"I've never heard a better version of myself." The true, smooth deep voice of Ezio Auditore sounded behind the artist.

Whipping around, Leonardo glared daggers at the man. "What are you doing here?" He snapped.

"What, no friendly greeting from Ezio?" He asked, throwing his arm out. "Why Ezio, I'm wounded! I had hoped you brought more Codex Pages." The assassin's voice shot up a few octaves, a harsh version of Leonardo's own dulcet tones.

"Don't be so cute," Leonardo replied, his glare not dropping.

Ezio's arms dropped along with his expression. "Mio amo," he sighed as he moved across the room. "What is wrong?" He asked.

Leonardo promptly turned around. "I just thought you were better than that," he snapped, lifting his brush again.

Ezio blinked. "Mi dispace, Leonardo, but I don't understand. What has upset you so much?" When his answer was only a snort, he reached down to grip Leonardo's shoulder. "Leonardo, please, I do not know what is wrong."

"I heard the rumors," Leonardo replied, voice soft, but not in a submissive sort of way. That quiet voice meant he was no more than three seconds away from throwing something. "Visiting women never gets old with you, does it?"

Ezio pulled back, his eyes widening as he understood. "Ah, Leonardo, is that what this is about?" He smiled widely, all worry draining out of him. "Mio amo, don't be so stiff!" He laughed.

Leonardo's shoulders hunched up. "Glad to see you taking this so lightly."

"Leonardo," Ezio started, leaning down to wrap his arms around the stone-like artist. "Those are only rumors. Truly."

Before the assassin could react, Leonardo spun around in his arms and slammed their lips together. He pulled back with a sly smirk that never graced such delicate features.

"How can those rumors be wrong? I am the great Ezio Auditore. I may do as I please," Leonardo said, his tones low and mocking again.

Ezio arched an eyebrow. He wasn't really sure what sort of game Leonardo was playing, but he was more than happy to join in. Especially if it meant that the blond didn't stay mad.

"But that is insulting to me, Leonardo da Vinci," he said, his voice jumping up again. He sounded like a parrot that had swallowed a lemon. "How could you, Ezio, do such a thing?" He asked, before he pressed their lips together again.

Leonardo pulled back, the smirk that normally belonged to Ezio only widening. "Ah, ah. My dear, Leonardo. I do it because my giant cock is insatiable." Strangely the words dipped even lower making Leonardo sound like a half-dead drunk than a respectable assassino.

It was all Ezio could do to stop himself from laughing at the sound.

"And because I am sooooo insatiable, I simply must devest you of these clothes, Leonardo!" He cried, throwing his arms up in what was supposed to be a fluid gesture. But, it only succeeded in knocking the canvas off it's stand. He bared acknowledged it. "Quickly, mio amo, I haven't the time. I might be in the middle of a chase with the city guards."

Ezio leaned back to watch Leonardo. The artist was trying to remove his robes in the liquid movement that Ezio normally had. It wasn't working so well. Instead, it was making Leonardo look like a cross between a beached whale and an angry crab.

Finally, Leonardo managed to get the armour and top layers off, leaving Ezio in only his pants and white tunic.

"Ah, ha! You are quite the tease, Leonardo," Leonardo stated. "Making me work so hard. Truly, you can not expect me to be doing all the work." He spoke, still keeping a slight hold on the baritone voice he normally adored. He gestured at his own shirt, a bit tired from the effort of moving like Ezio but failing. "If you could be so kind."

It was to note but Ezio realized that for Leonardo to keep the vague image of his voice, he had to get louder and louder.

Suppressing a smirk, Ezio leaned forward. "Of course, Ezio! How could I not hope but to do anything for you. You are ever so kind to me," he intoned in his parrot voice as he reached for the artists shirt. Keeping up the mock-actions, he hesitantly plucked at the fastenings. He gasped and giggled at his own mistakes as he tried to remove the garment.

While he did, Leonardo's cheeks flushed a deep red from embarrassment. He didn't think he was that bad at removing clothing.

However, the shirt was soon removed and thrown to the floor. Ezio's tunic quickly followed.

"Magnifico! Only the best for the greatest assassino, ever!" Leonardo cheered, as he ran his thin hands over Ezio's well sculpted body. Despite their antics, he couldn't help the burning attraction settling in his groin. "Machiavelli could be so jealous! Ha ha!"

Ezio snorted and held a hand over his eyes. "P-plus, Ezio, touch me," he said in a breathy voice. He was speaking around laughter and it gave his voice a distinctly Leonardo-quality.

"Of course, mio amo!" Leonardo replied before leaning forward. He licked a bold stripe up Ezio's stomach, making the man shiver.

"Aah, do you enjoy that, Leonardo?" Leonardo said in a deeply rich voice. "Then, perhaps, I shall give you more, since I am simply the best."

Leaning up slightly on his stool, Leonardo started to kiss and tease his way up to Ezio's neck. All the while, his actions were harsh and vastly different from his normal hesitancy. By the time he actually reached Ezio's throat, the man was groaning softly.

"Oh, ho, Ezio, the rumors do not do you justice," Ezio panted softly, still, somehow, keeping his voice light.

Leonardo smirked over his skin. "Of course not! The real thing is always better." He stood up off the stool. Only when he did, he tripped over his own two feet. Ezio, thoroughly distracted, couldn't catch them and they only ended up crashing to the floor.

When they hit the ground, Ezio grunted and wrapped his hands around Leonardo's arms.

"Fuck Leonardo," he hissed to himself, a little annoyed that he had botched the motions.

"Oh, Ezio, you're being ever so rough," Ezio sighed in a particularly girly way.

That made Leonardo pause. With wide eyes, he looked up to Ezio's face. For a long moment the two men stared at each other. Then, quite suddenly, they both burst into laughter. It wasn't the gentle, amused laughter, it was full on stomach-bursting, rambunctious rumble that echoed through the room.

"Dio, Leonardo! You should have heard yourself," Ezio cried, holding a hand to his forehead again. He sucked in a breath but was quickly cut off by only more laughter.

"M-me?! I'm not the one who sounded like a 12 year old girl," Leonardo panted.

The two men calmed. As soon as their breathing returned, Ezio wrapped his arms around Leonardo's shoulders and pulled him close.

"Leonardo," he sighed. "There is no one I want more than you; no matter what the rumors say." He locked his golden gaze with the other male's. "Do you believe me?"

Leonardo was silent for a moment, then that smirk returned. "Leonardo should know that he has quite the lover on his hands. After all, I, Ezio Auditore, only gets the best and gives the best in return."

Ezio laughed, holding the man close. "You're right, Ezio. How could I, Leonardo da Vinci, the genius, forget such a thing."

For long minutes afterward the two men simply laughed and basked the warmth of each other's presence. Even if Leonardo was rarely angry, there was still one man who knew how to pull his strings in all the wrong directions. And yet, despite that, there was no one else that he loved more. No matter how terribly he tried to imitate them.
