FFF discussion! I just bought a book called the memory cathedral, a fictional secret year of leonardo's life. Machiavelli is a young boy and wants to be leonardo's apprentice :3 :3 :3 there are all of these scenes where he grasps Leonardo's hand when leonardo is upset!! Its so cute and makes the AC girl in me squeal. Also the scenes with Lorenzo, ahhhhh Leonardo, Lorenzo and Machiavelli go exploring a cave together and Lorenzo puts his hand on leonardo and talks about how he is about to become part of the medici family coming to work for them and and and and I died andit made me want lorenzo/leonardo and leonardo.machiavelli so bad!!!!

Oh my god yes. This is AMAZING, especially since I ship Leo/Machiavelli like no other. And I've been nerding out on Thoughts on Art and Life and I was wanting for more Leo, so this is perfect.

On another, sort-of related note: on one part of the kink meme some anon mentioned a history book they were reading, and I believe it mentioned something about Leonardo being a complete badass and people saying he was able to BEND HORSESHOES. Does anyone know the title of that book, or have any other history-related recommendations?

There's a fanfic out there where Leonardo does exactly that (bend horseshoes LIKE A BOSS and be badass); the AU premise being that Ezio was both acrophobic AND freaked out when he first manifested Eagle Vision as a kid, to the point of having physically let himself go, apprenticed to a banker, timid/shy and with Leonardo his only friend...

I don't know if anyone else had already found this out, but in AC:Brotherhood, while playing Desmond, if you pause the game when Desmond is having a bleeding effect, you will see that the blue ghosts become solid, with colors and all (you need to be close enough):D In the sanctuary when Des sees Ezio, I paused the game and suddenly Ezio was there, and it seemed as if Des was REALLY touching Ezio. Try it, it's cool ;)

After seeing the opening to Revelations, specifically, between the first two Ezio Sequences...

Since the old LJ archive seems to be collecting dust, I've started a new one!

kinksassins is the journal where the new archives will be stored. I'm still s l o w l y working on getting everythign up to speed (I've only got one page of prompts listed as of now), so volunteers (http://kinksassins.livejournal.com/1233.html) would be much appreciated.

Please forgive any errant typos. Right now I'm on an ancient computer using an ancient, spellcheckless version of IE.

Just wondering. I've been giving a lot of hours over to the archiving of prompts (almost up to 400 I've done alone, and coming close to half of part 3, more than the initial team managed in their valiant effort a few months ago) and it's just... well. I don't mind in the least doing it, it's basically the only thing I can give back to this meme seeing how badly I suck at fills, but if it's not used, I'm wasting a fucktonne of time. I'd like to know if it's useful to somebody.

Also, any tips or suggestions on its improvement, please tell me before I get too set in my ways

What if we start an anon meme where people can dick around and rp and stuff? Where we could just be totally unserious and have ridiculous fun. The bioshock comm has something like that and I think it could be really fun for us.

This anon is ashamed to admit that they have yet to get around to filling because they don't feel that they've gotten the AC characters down completely, and even if it's usually comedic, as long as it has room for NSFW or "serious" RP, this anon would be very interested! (To some extent, trying to act out a fill before writing it, sorry if that's not what you meant!)

Welcome fellow anon! While the fic is unfortunately not been updated in two months and is Ezio-focused, I chose this chapter specifically because part of his angst due to his life situation's contrast with Leonardo's.

Good! Throw my hat into the ring as supporting the idea for an anon meme. As you said, "dick around and rp and stuff? Where we could just be totally unserious and have ridiculous fun" would probably actually help with crackfic ideas, but also a chance to share our fanon/headcanon without necessarily derailing someone else's prompt or fill thread...?

Oh, definitely! Really anon memes are for freaking anything - crack rp, serious rp, sharing headcanon, anything.

Very glad to hear that, looking forward to seeing how this is set up... I swear, my headcanon is VERY active lately thanks to discussions with certain de-anon'd's...
