Ah yes, Haytham has some really unhealthy coping strategies. In fact, I've personally dealt with this kind of people. They will use every ounce of their power to convince you they're okay, but you can see their inside crumbling as they're deluding themselves.
Fortunately, Connor is a good lad :)
